This position serves as a key technical resource for systems integrators, consultants, distributors, and end users, ensuring the effective deployment and operation of AV/IT solutions. The engineer is responsible for resolving hardware and software issues, supporting system design and commissioning, and delivering structured training programs aligned with Q-SYS and other specialist platforms.\nKey Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)\nTechnical Support\nProvide post-sales support for hardware and software issues across AV/IT platforms.\nDiagnose and troubleshoot complex system issues including programming, commissioning, and network configuration.\nEscalate unresolved issues to internal teams and ensure timely resolution\nMaintain detailed documentation of technical issues, resolutions, and best practices.\nCollaborate with internal departments to improve product performance and customer experience.\nActively involved in the upgrades and testing processes for the Experience Center, contributing to its enhanced functionality and overall performance.\nAssist with pre-sales system design, specification, and solution architecture.\nTraining & Enablement\nDeliver technical training courses and product seminars to partners, consultants, and end users.\nSupport the development and localization of training content for Q-SYS and other specialist platforms.\nPresent confidently to small and medium-sized audiences, adapting content for technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nComprehensive training support to distributors, covering new training materials, updated syllabus and assistance with class arrangements.\nProvide assistance for both internal and external partner events, ensuring smooth coordination and successful execution.\nCustomer Engagement\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with channel partners and end users across Southeast Asia.\nGather and relay customer feedback to inform product development.\nRepresent the company professionally in meetings, industry events, and cross-functional collaborations.\nSkills and Minimum Experience Required\nBachelor's or diploma in a relevant field such as Electronics, Sound Engineering or similar is highly valued for this role\nMinimum 2 years’ experience in professional AV, IT infrastructure, or related industries\nProven experience in technical support, systems engineering, or commissioning roles\nExperience with third-party AV control integration and scripting (e.g., LUA)\nExperience in AV network setup, along with a solid understanding of network topology, protocols and infrastructure\nExcellent troubleshooting initiative paired with an analytical mindset to approach and resolve issues effectively\nFluent in written and spoken English\nExceptional problem-solving and analytical skills\nDetail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nConfident presenter with natural gravitas\nCollaborative team player with the ability to work independently\nProfessional demeanor and discretion in handling sensitive information\nPreferred Skills and Experience\nFamiliarity with AV design tools such as EASE, smart, etc\nCertifications (preferred but not mandatory):AV industry certifications: CTS, CTS-I, CTS-D\nIT networking certifications: CCNA, CCDA\nQ-SYS Level 2, Quantum certification\n\nQSC. is owned by Acuity Inc., which is located in the United States.
