Visit us at www.acuityinc.com.\nJob Summary\nThe Engineering Change Senior Engineer is responsible for ensuring the proper implementation of engineering changes to minimize the risk of quality issues with customers. This role collaborates closely with Manufacturing and Design teams to validate that products meet specifications while supporting engineering change management, configuration control, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nKey Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)\nValidate and report activities related to engineering changes and process deviations.\nCoordinate on-site Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), including approval tracking and implementation.\nCoordinate with FF Engineers on the receipt, management, and implementation of engineering changes, including product trials and validation activities.\nCollaborate with Engineering and Design Assist teams to support the BOM creation process and ensure BOM accuracy.\nMaintain statistical analysis of identified deficiencies by type and frequency.\nAnalyze process and product performance using Design of Experiments (DoE) and leverage data analytics to drive corrective actions.\nPrepare activity reports and provide problem-solving mentorship as required.\nIdentify engineering change dependencies and conflicts and communicate deficiencies to the appropriate stakeholders.\nSupport compliance with UL, CSA, NSF, and NOM requirements.\nIdentify and implement improvements to make engineering change and configuration management processes more efficient, reliable, and cost-effective.\nSkills and Minimum Experience Required\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree or equivalent.\n3-5 years of relevant experience.\nMinimum of 3 years of Engineering Change Management experience working with Engineering teams.\nProject management, leadership, and strong verbal and written communication skills.\nKnowledge of Lean Six Sigma, PFMEA, Statistical Analysis, Design of Experiments (DoE), SPC, and Measurement System Analysis (MSA).\nExperience with problem-solving methodologies such as A3, 8D, and DMAIC.\nExperience working in a manufacturing plant environment.\nKnowledge of Quality Management Systems.\nExperience supporting and participating in continuous improvement events (Kaizen, Six Sigma, BSFs).\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.\nManufacturing, Product, or Quality Engineering experience in a plant environment.\nExperience in the electronics assembly area.\nTravel Requirements\nAbility to travel up to 25% (domestic and/or international).\nWe value diversity and are an equal opportunity employer.
