Application Support\nArchitect and design support for advanced PLC-based automation and control solutions for Data Centers cooling systems and related mission-critical applications.\nDevelop scalable control architectures that integrate cooling systems, electrical infrastructure, energy monitoring, building management systems, and Industrial IoT platforms.\nCreate reference architectures, solution blueprints, and deployment standards that support enterprise-scale implementations.\nData Center Automation Expertise\nServe as a subject matter expert for Data Center control applications, including:\nCooling Towers\nChillers and cooling plants\nCRAH/CRAC equipment\nFDU/CDU equipment\nPumping and water-side economization\nModern liquid cooling systems\nElectrical distribution partners.\nConduct technical discovery workshops, site assessments, architecture reviews, and solution envisioning sessions.\nSupport strategic opportunities and complex pursuits requiring senior technical leadership.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nPartner with Product Management, R&D, Sales Engineering, and Technical Support teams to influence product direction and commercialization digital twins, and Data Center management.\nSkills and Minimum Experience Required\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automation Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience.\n10+ years of experience in industrial automation, PLC programming, system integration, controls engineering, or solutions architecture.\nExtensive experience with PLC platforms and industrial control systems.\nAdvanced experience with CODESYS development environments and IEC 61131-3 programming methodologies.\nDemonstrated knowledge and direct experience of Data Center infrastructure and mission-critical facility operations, such as cooling, electrical infrastructure, and management systems.\nHands-on experience with:\nModbus TCP/IP and RTU\nEtherCAT\nMQTT\nSparkplug B\nRedfish\nOPC UA\nBACnet/IP\nExperience designing and deploying Ignition or Ignition Edge solutions.\nStrong understanding of industrial networking, cybersecurity, segmentation, and secure remote access architectures.\nExperience integrating PLC, SCADA, BMS, DCIM, cloud, and enterprise systems.\nExcellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and technical documentation skills.\nPreferred Skills and Experience\nExperience with containerized applications including Docker and Kubernetes.\nKnowledge of Azure, AWS, or edge computing architectures.\nFamiliarity with machine learning, predictive analytics, digital twins, and operational optimization platforms.\nIndustry certifications related to industrial automation, networking, cybersecurity, or Data Center operations.\nExperience supporting large-scale enterprise or hyperscale Data Center deployments.\nOther\nAdditional Information\nTravel up to 30% may be required to support customer engagements, strategic projects, industry events, and demonstration activities.\nFlexibility to adapt to evolving market conditions and customer requirements.\nThe range for this position is $150,000 to $200,000. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
