Visit us at www.acuityinc.com.\nJob Summary\nThe Materials Planner is responsible for analyzing the Supply Plan and comparing it with current orders and inventory levels to determine material requirements that need to be requisitioned through Oracle. The position ensures material availability to meet production and customer requirements while maintaining an appropriate balance between supply and demand. The role is also responsible for optimizing inventory levels, preventing material shortages or excess inventory, and maintaining accurate planning and inventory information within the relevant systems.\nKey Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)\nMaterial Planning & Requirements\nAnalyze the Supply Plan and determine material requirements.\nAnalyze material consumption and current inventory levels..\nMRP, Kanban & Inventory Management\nMaintain Kanban Loops using the standard deviation formula.\nManage MRP / Kanban / DSY planning categories.\nOrders & Material Follow-Up\nCreate ISO / Internal Orders and monitor their delivery.\nFollow up on materials received that are on hold/quarantine.\nMonitor material availability and flow to prevent shortages.\nEngineering Changes & New Products\nManage Phase In / Phase Down / Phase Out processes resulting from engineering changes.\nSupport Product Introductions, Product Transfers, and ECOs.\nAdjust material planning according to product or engineering changes.\nSkills and Minimum Experience Required\nBachelor Degree\nAdvanced English skills\nIntermediate- advanced Excel skills\nSupply chain experience\nExperience processing data (Pivot Tables, vlookups)\nStrong execution skills.\nEffective communication.\nAnalytical skills.\nSupply and material planning decision-making.\nInventory optimization.\nFollow-up and problem-solving skills.\n\nTravel requirements\n0-25%\nWe value diversity and are an equal opportunity employer.
