Visit us at www.acuityinc.com.\nWork location: This position requires on-site presence in Oceanside, CA, must report to the office every business day.\nJob Summary\nCreate accurate Bill of Materials and assembly drawings for our ERP system that informs the Manufacturing and Assembly teams what to fabricate and how to assemble the product.\nKey Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)\nInterpret and create drawings for simple to complex product and assembly drawings in order to make accurate BOMs. \nCreation of BOMs and drawings for individual parts, sub-assemblies and finished products.\nModify/Update existing BOMs to meet the needs of new specific requirements. \nDevelop drawings for new custom parts needed in the BOMs.\nWork collaboratively with Engineering and Design Assist Departments.\nSkills and Minimum Experience Required\nProficient knowledge working in Windows environment and software related (Outlook, Office, etc.)\nKnowledge of engineering Solid works software\nKnowledge and understanding of the concept of Bills of Materials and how they are built\nAbility to learn new software and processes\nAbility to read and interpret drawings and diagrams.\nAbility or willingness to learn how to analyze parts, assemblies, and production processes. \nHigh capacity to work in a focused and methodical manner.\nHigh capacity to work under pressure and fulfill tight deliver schedules. \nComfortable working in on highly focused tasks.\nComputer program knowledge should include the following, but training is available for the right candidate:MS Office (excel, PowerPoint, Word), Sharepoint.\nSolidWorks\nAdobe Illustrator & Photoshop (preferred but not essential)\n\nPreferred Skills and Experience\nHighly proficient in the use of PC and software related to engineering: 3D modeling, 2D technical drawing, and database drawing management\nThe candidate must be a fast learner with excellent retention of knowledge and details.\nCollege level manufacturing or drafting technical education preferred.\nTravel Requirements\n0%\nThe range for this position is $36,000.00 to $51,000. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
