Visit us at www.acuityinc.com.\nJob Summary\nThe Senior Production & Quality Engineer is responsible for developing, designing, specifying, and documenting systems focused on Product and Process Quality Assurance. This role supports the actions required to ensure products and processes meet and exceed customer expectations and specifications.\nKey Tasks & Responsibilities\nDrive customer quality claim reduction and Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) reduction initiatives.\nAdminister Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes.\nManage New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.\nManage product engineering changes and Bill of Materials (BOM) updates.\nSupport and execute cost reduction processes.\nSkills and Minimum Experience Required\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or a similar field.\n3-5 years of relevant experience.\nQuality Management System (QMS) implementation experience.\nQuality Assurance knowledge.\nCorrective Action Management and problem-solving techniques.\nProcess Control knowledge, including the definition and monitoring of critical process variables.\nExperience maintaining product specifications and documentation.\nAPQP / PPAP knowledge, including PFMEA, Product Specifications, Test Specifications, Control Plans, Process Flow Charts, and Calibration.\nGeometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) knowledge.\nAdvanced English proficiency (90%).\nStrong negotiation skills, proactive approach, and excellent interpersonal skills.\nStrong attention to detail and analytical skills.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with TIG and MIG welding processes. \nExperience with industrial painting and coating processes.\nTravel Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or a similar field.\nWe value diversity and are an equal opportunity employer.
