AWS DevOps Consultant

Main tasks

• Implement, operate and troubleshoot cloud environments based on AWS
• Design, implement and maintain AWS infrastructure following DevOps and Platform Engineering practices
• Implement and maintain secure AWS cloud environments, with a strong focus on cloud security
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to support automated and reliable software delivery
• Implement and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and/or OpenTofu
• Manage and secure databases in AWS, including RDS and PostgreSQL, with appropriate encryption, access control and backup strategies
• Administer and secure Windows Server and Linux environments, including patching and hardening activities
• Design, implement and troubleshoot cloud networking solutions, including VPN, Direct Connect, DNS security, TCP/IP, DDoS protection, Transit Gateway and PrivateLink

Requirements

• Senior-level experience with AWS infrastructure and cloud environments
• Strong AWS security experience, including secure configuration and implementation of cloud services
• Strong experience with CI/CD, particularly GitLab pipelines
• Strong experience with Kubernetes
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or OpenTofu
• Strong experience with Windows Server administration, including patching and hardening
• Strong experience with Linux administration, including patching and hardening
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud networking, including VPN, Direct Connect, DNS security, TCP/IP, DDoS protection, Transit Gateway and PrivateLink
• Experience with database security, particularly RDS and PostgreSQL, including encryption, access control and backup strategies
• Experience with Docker and containerization

Nice to have

• Experience using AI in the context of Cloud Operations
