Senior Automation Tester

Main tasks

• Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites using Playwright
• Execute functional, regression, integration and end-to-end automated testing across multiple applications
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle
• Define, promote and enforce testing standards, best practices and automation framework guidelines across engineering teams
• Contribute to the Quality Enablement function by improving QA processes, automation strategies and engineering practices
• Review test coverage, identify gaps and ensure comprehensive validation of application functionality
• Analyse test results, report defects and support root cause analysis with development teams
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery and release quality
• Mentor team members and promote a quality-first mindset across the organisation

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an Automation Tester, QA Automation Engineer or similar role
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (preferred)
• Proven experience designing and maintaining automated test frameworks
• Experience with functional, regression, integration and end-to-end testing
• Experience contributing to QA standards, testing frameworks and quality engineering best practices
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in Agile environments

Nice to have

• Experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured or similar)
• Experience with Selenium or Cypress
• Knowledge of performance testing tools
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or Jenkins
• ISTQB Certification
