Senior Backend Developer (Python)

Main tasks

• Act as a Backend Developer for innovative digital platforms
• Design, develop, and optimize robust, scalable, and high-performance backend services using Python
• Build and maintain core system architecture, ensuring reliability, scalability, and data integrity
• Develop and manage RESTful APIs to support multiple applications and integrations
• Manage and optimize databases, with a strong focus on PostgreSQL
• Generate insights and reports from large datasets to support data-driven decision-making
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices and design patterns
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance and application efficiency
• Document technical solutions, architectures, and processes clearly
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align on project goals and deliverables
• Work independently, take ownership, and proactively solve complex technical problems
• Contribute to innovation by improving backend architecture and development processes
• Leverage AI assistants to enhance productivity and development workflows
• Promote best practices and train team members on effective use of AI tools

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python, including best practices, design patterns, and modern frameworks
• Experience in building scalable and high-performance backend systems
• Proven experience in big data reporting and working with large datasets
• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL (database management and optimization)
• Experience working with AI assistants to improve productivity and workflows
• Excellent communication skills, including ability to explain technical concepts and train others
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve complex technical challenges
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or similar)
