Senior Java Developer

Main tasks

• Develop and maintain backend applications in a banking environment.
• Build and enhance Java-based services using Java 8 and Spring Framework.
• Support and maintain applications running on WebSphere Application Server.
• Design and implement event-driven solutions using Kafka.
• Ensure reliable data processing and system integrations.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance in production environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver stable and scalable solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of backend architecture and development processes.

Requirements

• Strong experience as Backend Developer using Java.
• Solid knowledge of Java 8.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework / Spring Boot.
• Experience with WebSphere Application Server.
• Experience with Apache Kafka or event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and system integrations.
• Experience working in production-critical environments.
• Understanding of clean code principles and software engineering best practices.
• Experience with troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery environments.
