The Mixing Chemist will also operate and monitor the RO water treatment unit and maintain accurate production records.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nPrepare and mix batches according to approved formulations, production instructions, and required quantities.\n\n Weigh and add raw materials accurately while following the correct sequence of addition, mixing time, temperature, and mixing speed.\n\nMonitor the mixing process and ensure batches meet the required specifications before transfer to the next production stage.\n\nIdentify and report abnormalities, deviations, or quality issues during the mixing process.\n\nOperate, monitor, and perform routine checks on the RO water treatment unit, ensuring the required water quality and availability for production.\n\nMaintain accurate records of raw material consumption, batch quantities, production parameters, and batch results.\n\nEnsure proper cleaning and housekeeping of mixing tanks, equipment, tools, and the production area.\n\nFollow all SOPs, GMP requirements, chemical handling procedures, and HSE regulations.\n\nCoordinate with Quality Control, Production, Warehouse, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth production operations.\n\nAssist in investigating batch deviations and support corrective actions when required.\n\nSupport the development, testing, and scale-up of new or modified formulations when required.\n\nEnsure chemicals are handled, stored, and used according to their specifications and safety requirements.\n\nRequirements\nBSc. in Chemistry or related discipline.\n\nMinimum 3 years of experience in detergents, cosmetics, personal care, or related chemical manufacturing.\n\nPractical experience in batch preparation and mixing operations.\n\nPractical experience in operating and monitoring RO water treatment units.\n\nGood understanding of chemical raw materials, formulations, and mixing processes.\n\nGood knowledge of GMP, chemical handling, and workplace safety.\n\nGood analytical and problem-solving
