Responsible for adhering to Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices, to ensure the production of safe quality products.\n Essential Duties and Responsibilities:\nPractice, teach and enforce the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) established for Quality\nPractice and enforce all Safety policies and procedures\nMonitor and verify accuracy of product, product packaging, product labeling and product identification/markings\nSupport team member safety by promoting safe work practices, monitoring compliance with policies, and minimizing physical hazards to promote an overall safe work environment\nAdhere to, teach, and monitor quality programs\nEnsure process controls are met, all documentation is accurate and bring about corrective action as needed\nAssist in external audits and documentation\nUsing quality SOP’s inspect all raw materials for accuracy, including juice tanker inspections which require safely climbing a tanker ladder\nEnsure all paperwork is complete and accurate\nHelp resolve quality issues on the production floor\nComply with all company policies, practices, and procedures\nParticipate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals\nProvide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill\nLearn, practice, and adhere to all Safety policies & procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) established for CPS\nLearn, practice, and adhere to all Quality policies and procedures including Safe Quality Food (SQF),\nHazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Quality Points (HACQP).\nPerform other duties as assigned\nQualifications & Requirements:\nRead, write, speak, and comprehend English\nComprehend basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, weights and measures, and efficient use of a calculator\nBasic computer and data entry skills\nPossess mechanical aptitude with the ability to assemble, troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on manufacturing equipment.\nAbility to communicate both written and orally within the organization\nAbility to give positive suggestions to improve operations in the work center\nTeam Oriented - being helpful, respectful, approachable, building strong working relationships and a positive work environment, is responsible, honest, loyal, interacts with others tactfully, resolves conflicts appropriately, and adapts to change\nAbility to manage time efficiently\nAbility to work well under changing demands\nFollow verbal and written instructions\nMust have good work ethics, be highly motivated, and be a hands-on problem solver\nAbility to detect, recognize, and judge discrepancies\nRequires accuracy, reliability, and attention to quality\nSuccessfully completes and attains passing score of the Blender Lead Test\nHigh school diploma or GED, and 2 years work experience in a manufacturing environment\nPhysical Demands\nWillingness to work additional hours, and tailor schedule appropriately, to support team goals and meet deadlines\nMust possess adequate vision, hearing, and verbal communication skills to meet essential job performance and safety standards\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods and regularly perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, lifting, climbing, bending, stooping, squatting, and using hands for detailed tasks\nWork environment sometimes involves exposure to inclement weather\nPhysically capable of performing tasks such as lifting, climbing, and using hand and power tools, including pallet jacks, scales, ladders, and standard material handling and cleaning equipment\nCapable of safely lifting up to 50 pounds frequently throughout the day; ability to handle heavier items with proper lifting equipment or team-assisted techniques to ensure safety\nWork Environment\nEmployees must be able to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment that may include exposure to odors, dust, moderate noise levels, and fluctuations in temperature and ventilation\nAppropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times, which may include but is not limited to: safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, gloves, hairnets, uniforms, and face shields, as required by specific job duties and safety protocols\nQuality Statement: \nOur Quality and Food Safety Management strategy is anchored by our food safety and quality culture and a two-pronged approach to “be the best” as we produce “only the best”.
