This role involves full command of the technical stack necessary for development and deployment, collaborative work with stakeholders, and making the footprint in the company’s data science strategy.\nYour Key Responsibilities\nStrategic Contribution:\nCollaborate with leadership in helping to shape and implement the company’s data science strategy\n\nIdentify strategic opportunities to leverage data for business value\n\nTechnical Expertise:\nCommand the full technical stack required for development and deployment\n\nDevelop and maintain scalable machine learning models and systems\n\nEnsure robust data management and engineering practices for efficient data pipelines\n\nStakeholder Collaboration:\nPartner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide insights\n\nCommunicate complex technical concepts also to non-technical stakeholders\n\nRequired Qualifications\nMaster’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field or equivalent knowledge and experience\n\nProven experience (5+ years) in taking part and/or leading complex projects\n\nExpertise in modern language models and machine learning frameworks\n\nPractical experience with different LLM models of size and providers\n\nDeep expertise in optimising LLM-based pipelines with regards to performance and costs\n\nMastering building agents across different tools and LLMs\n\nMastering LLM-based data capture and extraction\n\nExperience with modern LLM-Supporting Frameworks and Tools\n\nProficiency in modern LLM Prompting techniques and approaches\n\nProficiency in building of evaluation pipelines with data-driven approaches\n\nExperience with managing feedback training pipelines and fine-tuning\n\nStrong command of programming languages such as Python, R or any strongly-typed computer language\n\nGood knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and deployment processes\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nFamiliarity with big data technologies like Spark or Hadoop or any other commercial Data Warehouse and/or Data Lake technologies\n\nStrong background in data architecture and database management\n\nExtensive experience with data management and engineering tools\n\nGood knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping\n\nKey Competencies\nExcellent problem-solving and strategic thinking skills\n\nAbility to innovate and drive process improvements\n\nStrong communication and collaboration abilities\n\nCommitment to ethical AI practices and data governance\n\nWhat We Offer\nYour Workplace: You work fully remote and flexibly from anywhere within Germany.
