We've hit product-market fit and are scaling aggressively across multiple markets.\nThe Role\nWe're looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join our small, growing Platform team and help scale our infrastructure across multiple markets. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you'll own critical cloud infrastructure serving hundreds of thousands of users across Southeast Asia and Africa.\nYou'll be part of the Platform squad - responsible for platform-level infrastructure, shared services, observability, and security tooling. We're in the middle of a major infrastructure maturity push: closing IaC gaps, hardening CI/CD, improving observability, and preparing our platform for rapid expansion across multiple markets in Southeast Asia and Africa.\nThis isn't a role where you maintain dashboards. You'll architect, build, and operate the infrastructure that powers a high-growth fintech with high-throughput production systems.\nWhat You'll Do\nOwn and operate cloud infrastructure - compute, networking, identity, and security controls - using Infrastructure-as-Code\nManage container orchestration workloads, including cluster upgrades, deployment management, and autoscaling\nBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines - automated testing, deployment automation, and quality gates\nDrive observability - implement and improve monitoring, alerting, logging, and tracing across all services\nHarden security posture - cloud security posture management, automated scanning in CI, access policies, network security, and contributing toward industry security certifications\nManage multi-cloud infrastructure - we run workloads across multiple cloud providers\nOperate messaging infrastructure - event-driven architectures, including retry strategies and dead-letter queue management\nStandardize market launches - build repeatable infrastructure provisioning so new markets can go live in days, not weeks\nSupport the engineering team - be the go-to person for infrastructure questions, unblock developers, and create self-service tooling\nParticipate in on-call rotation - respond to production incidents and drive root-cause analysis and prevention\nMust-Have Experience\n5+ years in a DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering role\n Strong cloud infrastructure expertise - compute, networking, identity management, queuing, monitoring, storage, and databases (we use AWS primarily)\n Container orchestration in production - cluster operations, package management, debugging, resource management (we use Kubernetes)\n Infrastructure-as-Code at scale - writing, reviewing, and managing IaC with proper state management and modularization (we use Terraform)\n CI/CD pipeline design - deployment automation, testing integration, and deployment strategies (blue-green, canary)\nLinux systems administration - comfortable debugging at the OS level\nMonitoring and observability - setting up alerting, dashboards, log aggregation, and incident response\nSecurity mindset - experience with access control best practices, network security, secrets management\nStrong communication - able to explain infrastructure decisions to non-infra engineers\n Reliable internet and hardware, able to work ≥40h/week with decent overlap with UTC+8 (Singapore time)\nNice-to-Have\n Multi-cloud experience (GCP, Firebase, or similar alongside AWS)\n GitOps deployment experience (e.g. ArgoCD or similar)\n Event streaming operations and tuning (e.g. Kafka)\nCompliance frameworks - ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar\nCost optimization - experience reducing cloud spend without sacrificing reliability\nPen testing coordination or security audit experience\nExperience at a fintech or financial services company\nExperience with multi-region or multi-market infrastructure\nWhat We Use Today\nHere's what we work with today -
