Nobody has answered yet.\nAbout the role\nYou'll be part of the team that owns every interaction a customer has with their FinOps data - helping some of the largest corporations in the world adopt and mature their FinOps practice. That runs from the budget they set for next year, to Billy, our FinOps assistant, to the heavy data APIs their platform teams build on top of us.\nInside a single customer, that's hundreds of users a day - engineers, FinOps analysts, finance leads, and increasingly AI agents asking on their behalf. Billions of dollars of cloud and AI spend run through Finout, so one decision made on a screen you designed moves millions. Make it clear, and a company builds differently. Make it confusing, and they go the wrong way for a quarter.\nAnd the AI half is wide open. Three fronts, all live right now:\nFinOps for AI. You've built with it, and you can tell output from value\n\nYou want to define products that don't exist yet, in a category being invented right now\n\nYou're comfortable being the most junior person in one room and the most senior in the next, on the same day\n\nAnd probably not, if:\nYou need a stable roadmap, a quiet quarter, and a clear lane\n\nYour favorite part of product is the process\n\nYou want to be handed requirements, or hand them off\n\nYou use the term “strategic” to describe your next pm position; we build and create value; we don’t talk about strategy for a living.\n\nYour AI experience is mostly having opinions about AI\n\n\"It's not defined yet\" reads to you as a problem rather than an opening\nWhat you bring\n7+ years in product, including ownership of a complex B2B or data-heavy product used by technical users\n\nIndependent by default. You don't wait to be unblocked, prioritized for, or told what happens next - you find out and go\n\nEvidence you've shipped fast, more than once, without leaving a mess behind\n\nYou can hold a real conversation with engineers about APIs, data models, and tradeoffs, then hold one with a CFO about forecasting\n\nComfort with enterprise customers: discovery, hard conversations, and telling a very large logo no when the answer is no\n\nYou want to make an impact at the company level, and you know that here it comes from what you ship, not from what you present\n\nA cloud, FinOps, DevOps, or infrastructure background is a strong plus.
