shaping responsible artificial intelligence adoption across the business.\nReports To: Chief Executive Officer\nWhat You'll Do:\nOwn customer contract strategy by partnering with Sales, RevOps, Customer Success, and Finance to align terms with revenue objectives\nManage day-to-day contracting operations and the contracts attorney to maintain a 1 to 2 business day turnaround target\nEstablish and lead the enterprise compliance program including insurance coverage oversight and risk reporting to the C-suite\nPartner with Information Security to ensure contracts, vendor relationships, and product commitments meet required security standards\nLead legal strategy and execution for M&A, divestitures, and strategic transactions alongside private equity sponsors and executive leadership\nAssess and manage legal, regulatory, and contractual risk across the organization while providing clear analysis and options to executive leaders\nDirect legal strategy for international expansion including entity formation, cross-border compliance, and multi-jurisdiction employment law\nPersonally negotiate high-value or high-risk contracts across customer, vendor, procurement, and partnership agreements\nAdopt AI tools into daily legal workflows and establish an AI governance framework for responsible deployment across the company\nCollaborate with Product and Engineering teams on legal and regulatory considerations for AI-enabled platform features and data commercialization\nOversee outside counsel relationships, legal spend allocation, and equity administration in partnership with Finance and HR\nAdvise on multi-state employment law matters, workplace policy development, intellectual property strategy, and corporate governance\nMentor and develop team members to expand internal legal capacity ahead of company growth\nWhat You Bring:\nJuris Doctor degree with active bar admission in good standing in at least one US jurisdiction\nMinimum of 12 years of related legal experience including significant in-house experience at a technology or SaaS company\nDemonstrated track record of building efficient in-house legal operations and high-throughput contracting functions\nProven experience leading M&A transactions, diligence, and integration in a private equity-backed environment\nHistory of serving as primary legal advisor to executive leadership, boards, and sponsor-level stakeholders\nExperience operating effectively within lean legal teams by leveraging technology, process design, and outside counsel\nWorking knowledge of international entity structuring, cross-border compliance, data privacy frameworks, and multi-state employment law\nProficiency with AI governance, AI-enabled legal tools, and emerging technology regulations\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills tailored for executive and investor audiences\nLeadership Competencies\nStrategic thinking to anticipate legal and business risks prior to transactions and set impactful KPIs\nExecutive judgment and communication to provide decisive counsel to C-suite and PE sponsors under tight timelines\nNegotiation and deal execution to drive complex commercial agreements, disputes, and M&A transactions to closing\nResourcefulness and operational leverage to scale team capacity through technology and process design\nCross-functional leadership to partner with Finance, Product, Engineering, and HR teams seamlessly\nRisk management to exercise sound independent judgment and present clear mitigation options on high-impact
