You should feel equally comfortable designing the system the team uses and digging into the work yourself to design complex workflows and reflect nuances in data or choices.\nThis is a hybrid role that allows for remote work flexibility. Once a week, we get together for in-person team collaboration and a team lunch in our Seattle office.\nAs the Product UX Designer, you will focus on:\nDesign Systems & Enablement\nOwn and evolve our design system as the foundation for consistent, high-quality product experiences\n\nCreate decision frameworks and lightweight guidelines that let PMs confidently make design calls on smaller enhancements without a dedicated designer in the room\n\nReview PM-led design decisions periodically and give feedback that improves judgment over time, not just the artifact in front of you\n\nBuild and maintain AI-readable design system documentation\n\nStay current on design trends, tooling, and AI-assisted design workflows, and evaluate what's worth adopting\n\nCollaboration\nPair directly with Product and Engineering from early discovery through development on large features and new products\n\nCo-own with product translating ambiguous problems and business requirements into clear, testable design\n\nPresent design rationale clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including leadership\n\nHelp grow our design team by mentoring other designers on systems thinking, craft, or domain knowledge and collaborating on process improvement\n\nProduct & Interaction Design\nSet the design vision for your product area and align it with overall company design strategy\n\nDesign end-to-end workflows for complex, multi-step financial processes (e.g., invoice approvals, multi-entity billing, vendor management, payment routing)\n\nSimplify dense, data-heavy interfaces without stripping out the nuance that matters for compliance or accuracy\n\nDesign trust and transparency into automated decisions and human-in-the-loop workflows\n\nCustomer Advocacy\nConduct or partner on user research, usability testing, and interviews to validate design decisions before and after launch\n\nRepresent the user's perspective in roadmap and prioritization conversations\n\nLearn the unique challenges of the construction industry and connect with users from diverse backgrounds\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nSelf-Motivated and enthusiastic about building great software for construction accounting\n\nEmpathetic advocate for your customers\n\n5+ years experience as a product/UX designer on a B2B product\n\nExperience with Figma and/or other design tools\n\nOther experience (not required, we're happy for you to learn):\nConstruction accounting or construction ERPs\n\nFintech and/or payments processing\n\nConstruction industry\n\nThis could be a great fit if you:\nAre passionate about solving complex challenges and helping others succeed.\n\nThrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where creativity and adaptability are key.\n\nEnjoy working with customers and product managers to translate their needs into actionable solutions.\n\nAre a proactive problem solver who takes ownership and delivers results.\n\nBelieve in the power of teamwork and open collaboration to drive impact.\n\nAre a curious, self-driven learner who likes the details.\n\nLike rolling up your sleeves and putting the customer first.\n\nWe want you to love your work, team and environment - this may not be a good fit if you:\nPrefer a highly structured, well-defined environment\n\nAre uncomfortable being the first to figure something out\n\nLeveling and compensation will be based on skills and experience.\nBenefits include:\n100% premium coverage for employee health insurance premiums and partial coverage for dependents.\n\nHealth Savings Account with a company contribution\n\nFlexible Spending Account Options: Health Care and Dependent Care\n\nDental, Vision, and Life Insurance\n\n11 paid company holidays plus generous Paid Time Off (PTO) policy\n\nPlus stock options so that you can participate in the company’s success!\n\nAt this time, Finvari is not able to sponsor employment based visas such as H1-B.
