This role involves working on complex software projects, leading development efforts, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions.\nOther requirements include the following:\nLead the design and architecture of large-scale web and mobile systems, emphasizing scalability, performance, and security\nDevelop, enhance, and maintain top-quality web and mobile applications, leveraging advanced coding practices and design patterns\nConduct thorough code reviews, mentors team members, and advocates for code quality and maintainability best practices\nFocus on optimizing application performance for speed, efficiency, and scalability while implementing advanced security measures and leading security audits\nProvide technical leadership, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, maintain comprehensive technical documentation, resolves complex technical issues, participate in testing phases, stay updated on emerging technologies, and manage and lead development projects to ensure successful and timely delivery.\nTo succeed and grow in this role, you will be required to meet the following qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any other related course\nAt least five years related work experience\nExperience in web and mobile application development, including both front-end and back-end development.\nProficiency in programming languages (e.g., PHP, JavaScript, Java, Python, Swift) and web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Node.js, Vue.js).\nKnowledge of mobile app development for iOS and Android.\nExperience with database systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).\nFamiliarity with API design and RESTful principles.\nUnderstanding of DevOps practices and tools.\nProblem-solving and analytical skills.\nCommunication skills for effective collaboration with cross functional teams to understand business requirements, translate into functional specifications and develop a right fit solution.\nAbility to stay current with emerging web and mobile technologies and industry best practices.\nPreferably with people management experience\nAbout FELCO\nFirefly Electric and Lighting Corporation (FELCO) started in 2001 with a simple goal: to make quality lighting and electrical products available and affordable for every Filipino.
