These projects must be executed on time and on budget, while fostering trusting relationships with client Business Offices.\nResponsibilities:\nDeliver Accounting & Student Billing platform consulting and organizational change management to complex Business Offices, large and small. This multi-month implementation consulting consists of:\nPlatform transition options consulting: Through discovery and collaboration with the client, evaluate, demo, and revise setup options.\nOrchestrate successful Business Office change management, where the tailored configurations, once approved, are documented, socialized, and deployed.\nBusiness Office workflow consulting: Create documented models to support the ways the school's Business Office can best leverage the Veracross Accounting & Student Billing modules to support their operation. \nAlongside the Veracross Lead Project Manager, develop Business Office implementation project plans based on the Accounting & Student Billing module configuration.\nDevelop and orchestrate tailored Accounting & Student Billing support handoffs. \nMentor clients in their chart of accounts design as needed. \nCoach Implementation Managers from basic Accounting consulting proficiency to moderate Accounting consulting proficiency. \nWrite and update internal documentation to support continuous improvement of a standardized, best practice, Accounting & Student Billing implementation process, including training and adoption. \nLead direct training engagements for strategic and high-complexity Accounting offices.\nDevelop and maintain Student Billing & Accounting module product feedback that emerges from direct consultations.\nAchieve consultation success on time, and on budget.\nParticipate with Marketing and Sales in 2-3 Independent School Business Office conferences a year.\nRequirements\nAccounting degree or relevant qualification.\n4+ years of experience implementing Student Billing & Accounting software, including data conversion; experience with SaaS a plus. \nExperience in leading Veracross Full Accounting Implementations, or similar SaaS accounting implementation experience preferred \nExperience as part of an independent school business office running a SaaS accounting platform a plus.\nA solid understanding of the fundamental accounting equation; the general journal; the chart of accounts; general ledger reporting (balance sheet, trial balance, profit & loss statements); fiscal period and fiscal year closing; budgeting; reconciliations; and sub-ledger processing (e.g. accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash processing, purchases journal, fixed assets, project accounting) \nSkilled user of technology, comfortable learning and using the many types of systems that support a technical workspace \nExcellent written and oral communication skills, including comfort with public speaking, presentation delivery, etc. \nAbility to make complex decisions and recommendations under limited direction and using a high degree of initiative and independent judgement \nAbility to learn complex, enterprise level software systems at a level that supports teaching others \nAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environment \nProblem-solving skills with ability to perform root cause analysis \nHighly organised with the ability to self manage in a remote and/or hybrid workenvironment \n\nAbility to nationally travel if needed\nBenefits\nThe best tools to get the job done!\nWhen you join Veracross, you get a Macbook Pro, a 32-inch monitor, and an adjustable desk and chair for the office.\nGrowth opportunities!\nVeracross is growing fast, allowing you to own your role and grow with us!
