Passionately in pursuit of the perfect beer… and never satisfied.\nEssential Job Duties and Responsibilities:\nResponsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: \nConduct operation and safety check, including battery, brakes, lift controls, and fire extinguisher prior to operating forklift\n\nUse forklift to transfer materials between unloading, processing, loading, storage areas and trailers\n\nManually load or unload materials on to or off pallets, platforms, skids, etc.\n\nReport any damage to racks, equipment, forklift, or any other safety hazards\n\nWrap materials going onto pallets\n\nClean and organize warehouse daily\n\nPrebuild partial pallets for outbound loads\n\nComplete pallet and keg inventory maintenance\n\nEnsure all products rotate appropriately using First-In First-Out (FIFO) methodology\n\nAssist other departments with forklift operations as needed\n\nLearn and apply all existing policies, practices, and procedures\n\nIdentify and report any quality concerns\n\nComplete all assigned safety training\n\nWork under direct supervision and follow detailed instruction to complete other duties as assigned\n\nWe are currently looking for someone to join our Monday-Friday 3pm-11:30pm team.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent and prior experience operating a forklift.\n\nAbility to effectively communicate verbally. Ability to read labels and numbers. Ability to comprehend written and oral instructions in English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.\n\nForklift driver certified and ability to pass Firestone Walker Forklift Certification.\n\nAbility to work under pressure and multitask. Dependable, reliable, and mature enough to handle equipment safely, sensibly and responsibly. Willingness to ask questions and seek direction.\n\nAbility to operate and use a PC computer, learn scanning tool, ability to clock time worked and review and approve timecard each pay period and access HR self-service system.\n\nPhysical Demands:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. While strictly adhering to the FSW Safe Lifting Technique training, the employee must regularly move and/or lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally move and lift - not more than 6 inches off the ground - >100 pounds, with assistance if needed. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. Employee must have good eye/hand coordinate and motor skills.\nWork Environment:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is in a warehouse setting. The noise level is moderate. The employee may be exposed to solvents such as acetone.
