Resident Engineer - Tufin Stack & Network Security

We are hiring an experienced Resident Engineer for a large-scale enterprise security and network environment in the UAE. The role involves managing firewall governance, SD-WAN, cloud networking, routing, troubleshooting, and security automation across multi-vendor infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize Tufin environments in enterprise deployments.
• Handle firewall policy governance, risk analysis, compliance, and automation workflows.
• Troubleshoot multi-vendor firewall environments and hybrid cloud connectivity.
• Support SD-WAN operations and enterprise routing environments.
• Perform RCA, incident handling, vendor coordination, and CAB participation.
• Create SOPs, operational documentation, and technical runbooks.
• Support automation initiatives using APIs and scripting.
• Coordinate with SOC, cloud, infrastructure, and compliance teams.

Requirements:

• Experience 5-9+ Years
• Strong troubleshooting and ownership skills
• Experience handling critical enterprise incidents
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Comfortable working in high-pressure enterprise environments
• Mandatory Skills: 5+ years of hands-on experience with Tufin: SecureTrack, SecureChange, Policy automation, Rule recertifications, Risk and compliance analysis.
• Strong operational expertise in: Check Point Software Technologies, Firewalls- Palo Alto Networks Firewalls, Cisco Security Solutions, Fortinet, Juniper Networks
• Strong networking and cloud expertise: Microsoft Azure Networking- ExpressRoute, VPN, BGP / OSPF / VRF, Route Redistribution, ECMP, Policy-Based Routing, Hybrid Cloud Connectivity.
• SD-WAN expertise: HPE Aruba Networking / Silver Peak SD-WAN, Traffic steering, QoS, Overlay networking, Application-aware routing.
• Packet-level troubleshooting using tcpdump, Wireshark, and flow analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of: NAT, IPS, URL Filtering, Segmentation, Zero Trust Architecture.
• ITIL process knowledge: Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, RCA and SLA handling
• Preferred Certifications: Tufin Professional / Expert, CCSA / CCSE, PCNSE, CCNP / CCIE, Azure Network Engineer, ITIL Foundation.
