Join our diverse, world-class team, and together, we can make a difference.\nAbout the Quality Assurance Engineer Role:\nFireye, a leader in combustion and flame detection safety solutions that safeguard people and property, is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer Technician to join our team in Derry, New Hampshire.\nUnder supervision and following established procedures, provide technical support to Quality, Production, Operations, Manufacturing and Test Engineers.\nKey Responsibilities\nQuality Assurance / Production Test / Operations\nTest, troubleshoot, and repair electronic products involving a wide range of components. \nWork from schedules, specifications, test procedures, manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, sketches, Engineering Change Orders, computer programs and manufacturing instructions/procedures.\nConduct Preventive Maintenance and calibration of test equipment and fixtures.\nAnalyze Engineering documents, schematics and drawings and suggest modifications to the manufacturing and / or test engineers as it pertains to test / failures or troubleshooting improvements.\nDisassemble, assemble, de-solder and solder products as required in order to troubleshoot and repair products of mixed technology PTH and SMTD, in a timely manner and following quality (IPC-610) standards.\nRequired Qualifications:\n3 - 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in support of test, PCB fault analysis / diagnostics experienceand electronic assembly repairs. \nTest experience, strong knowledge of electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, DVM, oscillators, data pulse, frequency, and signal generators.\nAssociates degree in Electronics and a minimum of 2 years of related experience.\nSelf-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.\nAble to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.\nProficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.\nDemonstrated ability to own and execute tasks with minimal supervision.\nAbility to lift up to 30 lbs.\nFireye is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
