The Lead Salesforce Administrator should be comfortable with change management and governance, as well as communicating, prioritizing, and managing all aspects of a Salesforce project. The ideal candidate will be happy liaising with stakeholders at all levels, with the ability to translate technical information into layman’s terms and clearly explain design options and their potential impact. \nThis role is responsible for ensuring smooth, compliant and efficient release management across multiple clouds, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Salesforce CPQ/CLM.\nEnter any information about additional management responsibilities, such as team management or the reporting hierarchy. \nThis position will work remote from home office located in India. Hours will be 3.00 pm – 12.00 pm IST Essential Duties.\nResponsibilities:This is a varied, business-facing role with the following responsibilities:\n\nAll aspects of user and license management, including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules\n\nSalesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to) Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports\n\nUnderstanding of basic triggers/Apex code knowledge\n\nSandbox environment management\n\nDevOps/release management experience\n\nIdentify and gather requirements, translating into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience\n\nIdentify unused or underutilized platform features\n\nCreate a platform roadmap and define priorities, liaising with stakeholders\n\nOwn the communication of any platform changes to end users and stakeholders\n\nData management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed\n\nProactive system maintenance, including security reviews, release updates, health check, and Optimizer\n\nUser support tickets\n\nMonitor and improve user adoption\n\nNew user and ongoing user training \n\nTechnical documentation\n\nManagement of integrated applications and third-party suppliers including\n\nWhat You Will Need to be Successful:\n\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science is preferred\n\nExperience: 10 to 11 years of hands-on Salesforce administration and deployment experience across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Apttus CPQ/CLM.\n\nTechnical Expertise: Strong experience supporting release processes in a multi-org or multi-cloud Salesforce environment and Proven experience with Apttus CPQ/CLM configurations and troubleshooting.\n\nCertifications: Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder and Platform Developer I (preferred)\n\nDevelopment & Troubleshooting: Proficiency in Apex, LWC, Flow, SOQL, triggers and Salesforce design patterns & testing frameworks, with strong problem-solving and debugging skills.\n\nAgile & Collaboration: Experience in Agile environments with excellent communication, teamwork and business acumen to develop effective solutions.\n\nWhat You May Need to be Successful:\nA proactive attitude to platform enhancements\n\nDesigning scalable, best-practice solutions \n\nExcellent relationship-building skills\n\nAbility to liaise with stakeholders at all levels\n\nTranslating requirements into technical solutions\n\nExperience in change management and governance\n\nTraining end users and key stakeholders\n\nTechnical documentation\n\nAvailable and responsive to questions\n\nExperience implementing Salesforce configuration changes\n\nDevOps/release management experience\n\nUnderstands basic triggers/Apex code knowledge\n\nDemonstrates continued personal/professional development \n\nIs active in the Salesforce community\n\nWhy Join Us at First Advantage?At First Advantage, team members are united around a noble purpose: helping organizations to safeguard their workplaces and manage risk.
