This leadership role will drive the development and execution of data strategies that empower the organization with actionable insights, enhance decision-making, and support business growth. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in BI tools, advanced analytics, and team leadership, combined with a passion for transforming data into impactful business outcomes.\nResponsibilities:\nLead and oversee the design, development, and deployment of BI solutions using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric as well as other analytics platforms like Redshift and Google Looker. \nDrive the creation and optimization of complex data models, reports, and dashboards leveraging Data Analytics Expressions (DAX) and other relevant technologies. \nDevelop and implement data analytics strategies that align with business objectives and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. \nManage and mentor a high-performing team of data analysts, BI developers, and data engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. \nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Finance, Marketing, and Operations to understand data needs and deliver tailored analytics solutions. \nEstablish best practices for data governance, quality, and security in analytics processes. \nMonitor and evaluate emerging BI and analytics technologies to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of data innovation. \nCommunicate complex data insights and analytics findings to executive leadership and stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner. \nOversee the integration of data from multiple sources to create unified, comprehensive analytics platforms. \nDrive initiatives to improve data literacy and analytics adoption across the organization. \nWhat You Will Need to be Successful:\nBachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. \n10+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, or related roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity. \nExtensive hands-on experience with Power BI, including advanced proficiency in Data Analytics Expressions (DAX). \nUnderstanding Google Looker and Redshift. \nProven track record of leading successful BI and analytics projects in complex, data-driven environments. \nDeep understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts. \nExcellent leadership and team management skills, with experience building and scaling analytics teams. \nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering business value. \nExceptional communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences. \nExperience with SQL, Python, R, or other data analysis tools is a plus. \nKnowledge of cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and modern data architecture is desirable. \nShould be able to be onsite in Krakow once per month after starting and for the final in-person interview during the hiring process\nWhy Join Us at First Advantage?\nAt First Advantage, team members are united around a noble purpose: helping organizations to safeguard their workplaces and manage risk.
