This position will be responsible for managing, supporting and/or executing the coordination of various events within the client’s meeting spaces. The role requires strong operational understanding and practical experience in event logistics and venue management. Along with other FIRST team members, the Senior Event Manager will represent the FIRST Solutions brand on-site within a well-known tech company. In this role you’ll work with internal teams to coordinate the logistical needs of the event space.\nThis role requires full-time, on-site presence\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities \nProvides consultative ‘one stop shop’ planning support for Event Hosts to ensure exemplary event experience\nDiscovery of Event Host objectives and requirements for live and digital events.\nOversees organization of logistics, decor, entertainment, catering and all other event needs\nAbility to recommend event enhancements to achieve desired event objectives\nReview of all meeting space to ensure proper space assignment\nInforms Space & Service Coordinator of space need changes and cancellations to digital and on site events\nUpdate group information in internal systems in a timely manner\nPeriodically checks event spaces and setups to ensure event services are appropriately delivered\nProvide onsite support during the event execution, coordinating event support needs with the Event Service Specialist\nCreate, manage and distribute event details using approved internal template to all stakeholders and services lines involved in the event\nConduct debriefs post-event with Event Host and communicate comments/compliments/issues to service teams \nWork closely with all departments to develop and be responsible for event requirements and deliverables, including but not limited to communications, calendars, registration needs, feedback surveys, and wrap up reports\nCoordinate with facilities, arranging and overseeing all event details, such as audio and visual, decor, catering, security, entertainment, premiums/swag, and transportation\nCreate in depth event based on strategy while pushing the boundaries of creativity and innovation\nManage multiple programs/events, across various industry verticals, with creativity, innovation, and strategy, delivering world class creative execution\nConduct site visits\nManages high-profile and complex events, often acting a the lead on global events involving multi-region support\nAct as a mentor to other team members, conducting group meetings as needed\nTrain new employees and set up their training and shadowing schedules.
