Through continuous innovation and acquisition, our offerings comprise personalized solutions that span the mortgage continuum and enhance security, compliance, customer satisfaction, and profitability.The Data Reconciliation Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day reconciliation, validation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of data supporting ServiceMac's Regulatory team. This role focuses on coordinating with the respective teams to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of reporting through detailed data reconciliations, quality assurance reviews, root cause analysis and collaboration with multiple business and data teams. Qualified candidates will have a proven background performing data analysis, reconciliations, SQL reporting, AI tools and process improvement within a financial services or mortgage servicing environment.\nWhat You'll Do\nPerform reconciliations between multiple internal systems, databases, regulatory reports and/or source documents to ensure the accuracy and completeness of regulatory reporting.\nValidate data supporting Mortgage Call Reports (MCR), NMLS reporting, state licensing reports, investor reporting and other reporting needs/requirements.\nDevelop operational, reconciliation, management, and exception reports. \nAnalyze and investigate data discrepancies, identify root causes, and coordinate corrective actions with business partners.\nInterpret regulatory reporting requirements and translate them into reconciliation and validation processes.\nWork closely with the business units they define the data requirements to fulfill requests and validate report results.\nPerform data quality assurance reviews, reconciliation testing, and validation procedures to ensure regulatory reports are complete, accurate, and submitted within required deadlines.\nMonitor recurring reconciliation exceptions and recommend process improvements, automation opportunities and enhanced data controls.\nDevelop and maintain reconciliation procedures, desktop procedures, data dictionaries and supporting documentation.\nAssist in testing regulatory reporting changes and new reporting requirements.\nSupport regulatory examinations, internal audits, client due diligence requests and management inquiries by providing reconciliation support and documentation.\nUtilize Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other reporting tools to analyze large datasets, identify trends and develop management reporting.\nMaintain detailed documentation supporting reconciliation activities, issue resolution, and regulatory reporting controls.\nCoordinate responses to clients and/or third parties regarding reporting questions. \nWhat You'll Brin g\nThree to five years of recent experience performing data reconciliation, regulatory reporting, financial reporting, or data analysis in a banking, mortgage servicing, or financial services environment.\nAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, XLOOKUP, Power Query and advanced formulas).\nExperience reconciliation reports and analyzing large data sets.\nProficiency in prompt engineering and utilizing generative AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude to streamline reporting and/or reconciliations.\nDemonstrated ability to research, analyze, and resolve complex data discrepancies.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers, peers, auditors, regulators, and management.\nExperience with Power BI, SharePoint, Power Automate, or other reporting and automation tools is preferred.\nPay Range: $16.07-$24.04 HourlyThis hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.
