What We Do\nFound typically in centralized processing (rather than an individual branch setting). Provides centralized clerical processing of all documents connected with the initiation or closing of escrows, relieving branches of high volume paperwork. We are looking to add an Escrow Assistant to our growing team. In this role you will work in a dynamic, fast-paced setting supporting our Escrow team in a variety of ways including customer support and administrative duties. This position plays a key role in making the dream of home ownership a reality.\nWhat You'll Do:\nProvide a wide range of support to a team of Escrow Support Processors and Escrow Officers.\nPerform work that is very similar to associate level, although tasks may be slightly more complex with greater experience and knowledge.\nMay work on escrow openings and closings.\nPerform clerical functions to set up (open) escrow files.\nPrepare correspondence, escrow files and orders preliminary title reports.\nPerform fund disbursements.\nPrepare and deliver closing statements and closing letters.\nSchedule and provide instructions to couriers.\nOrder payoffs, liens, homeowner association documents and evidence of insurance.\nDistribute preliminary report.\nCommunicate with branches, as needed.\nFollow functional area’s processes and procedures in daily activities; Troubleshoot as needed.\nActively contribute to the results of a team and works toward achieving goals and objectives.\nWhat You'll Bring:\nMust be able to follow Escrow Procedures and have awareness of regulations governing escrow process\nWorking knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of department/field\nGood verbal and written communication skills\nEstablishes effective working relationships at the work group level\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n1-2 years escrow processing experience\nPay Range: $18.46 - $24.63 HourlyThis hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.
