First American will always strive to be a great place to work, for all.What We Do\nThe Lead Processor is a high-level operations position with proven expertise in mortgage document and mortgage loan transactional execution. This individual will support various critical activities across the Special Products and Land Transaction teams. This is a self-driven, motivated employee with a high degree of flexibility as well as considerable critical thinking skills. This individual needs to step in to support complex activities surrounding assumptions, land transactions and document management.What You’ll Do\nSupport activities across the Special Products and Land Transaction teams as needed including:Assumptions, partial releases, and other land transactions\n\nAct as the team’s resource and subject matter expert to answer questions and create resolutions using experience, best practices, and sound judgment\nPrepare files\nReview and complete loan files\nResearch and remediate exceptions\nWork with spreadsheets and reconciliations\nCoordinate with clients, customers and other departments and external parties to complete transactions\nAssess processes and make recommendations for improvements\nWork with vendors to monitor activity and conduct research\nIf needed, prepare procedures and job aids\nAssists in scheduling and coordinating team activities\nTroubleshoots and guides others on wide variety of complex problems and identifies solutions within broad application and functional expertise\nWhat You’ll Bring\n5+ years of directly related mortgage loan document, mortgage loan transactional experience and demonstrated leadership experience\nMust have the ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities, including the ability to prioritize workload to meet critical deadlines.\nDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers, peers, and management\nStrong critical thinking\nSelf-driven and doesn’t require high degree of supervision\nWork with efficiency and accuracy\nPay Range: $24.42 - $32.56 HourlyThis hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.
