First American will always strive to be a great place to work, for all.What We Do\nProduct Management defines, promotes and communicates the strategic roadmap for current and future products. Partner closely with business and technical teams to gather insights, understand current business process, challenges, and opportunities, in order to envision, design and develop technology products. Identify emerging markets, conduct market research, generate product requirements, determine specifications, create product roadmap, and conduct competitive assessments and product positioning. Act as primary contact and product evangelist to build awareness, understanding, and user acceptance. Works with clients, as needed, to develop and prioritize high level product requirements and ensure satisfaction and goals are met. Works closely with technology and other cross functional teams to determine plans for product implementation, upgrades and deployments. Use their deep knowledge of technology, processes, methodologies and principles to lead their product teams to successful outcomes.Essential Functions\nDrive the vision and delivery of innovative new products to keep the business relevant and competitive\nDevelop, define, maintain and communicate the product strategy and roadmap\nTranslate product strategy into detailed requirements \nDetermine and conduct market research to identify user need for new products\nPrioritize product opportunities using criteria and requirements defined during research\nDefine high level customer requirements for the entire customer experience including product features and functions, target markets, and pricing\nWorks with users to understand and validate their needs using Lean and UX design principles.\nCreates and uses wireframes to convey new feature ideas\nDevelop metrics to assess the success of products and features and determine necessary enhancements\nLead and participate in planning meetings and provide advice and guidance on direction of products\nCollaborate with customers, team members, and outside influencers to ensure a solid and well-rounded understanding of products and developing needs\nExecute the product roadmap by providing direction to the product development team for product evolution and priorities, ensuring that the experience gained from external market activities, usage analysis, competitive response, and market research is reflected in future product releases\nAssess market competition by cultivating knowledge of competitor products to identify product gaps, assess and address competitive threats, and gain a competitive edge\nRequired to perform duties outside of normal work hours based on business needs.\nJob Functions/Complexities\nWorks on problems of diverse scope where analysis of information requires evaluation of identifiable factors.\nTroubleshoots a wide variety of complex problems and identifies solutions within broad applications and functional expertise\nRegularly provides input to define and implement conceptual issues\nManagement Structure\nWorks under general direction\nMay provide functional advice or training to less experienced team members.\nMay have team to manage.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience\n5-7 years’ directly related experience in product or services development\nStrong understanding and abilities related to Excel and Visio (or comparable)\nExperience in product development, requirements and risk analysis, pricing, planning, competitive analysis, and financial planning and strategy\nStrong understanding of Agile, Lean and UX Principles\nKnowledge of consumer marketing analytics\nStrong interpersonal skills\nKeen ability to explain complex concepts across the organization and to large audiences and clients\nSound decision making, creativity, and problem-solving skills\nAbility to build relationships and ensure cooperation across the organization\nHigh level of business acumen, strategic agility, ability to develop others, influence outcomes and change, and negotiate for resources\nSuccessful track record designing, developing, and executing complex projects\nAbility to organize own work, set and meet timelines\nCollaboratively engages with leaders to create, identify, and implement solutions to further effectiveness of the business\nPay Range: $117,500.00 - $156,650.00 AnnuallyThis hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.
