We are looking to add a Title Officer to our growing team. In this role you will work in a dynamic, fast-paced setting supporting our Title team in a variety of ways that could include performing title examinations, analyzing various data points, verifying key information, and collaborating with customers, attorneys, and lenders. This position plays a key role in making the dream of home ownership a reality.\nIn this role, you will exhibit analytical, strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. The Title Officer is responsible for effectively accomplishing the real estate closing transaction and ensuring title insurability.\nAbout the role:\nCollaborate with customers, attorneys, and lenders to resolve issues impacting title insurability prior to closing\nPerform title examination to examine the chain of title for a wide range of title orders, both residential and commercial\nAnalyze various records, such as mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, vital statistics, plat and map books, and property surveys to determine ownership and legal restrictions \nCreate and revise title commitment as necessary\nVerify that title insurance rates and coverage provided on the title commitment are given in accordance with instructions received by the insured parties of the transaction and in accordance with guidelines\nReview and approve a variety of documentation including deeds, operating agreements, trusts, wills, affidavits of heirships, corporate resolutions, partnership agreements, and state filed Articles of Incorporation and Articles of Organization\nWhat You’ll Bring:\n3-5 years title related real estate experience with at least 2 years examining title\nFlexible with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment to handle all aspects of title support \nPassion for helping customers while maintaining a professional and positive attitude\nExcellent verbal and written communication with both our internal team and external customers; adapting styles as needed \nProblem solver with strong organizational skills, is detail oriented, and has a natural curiosity with an eagerness to learn and share\nThrives in contributing to a team working together to deliver beyond customer expectations \nComfortable guiding and supporting future talent learning the business\nKnowledge of MS Office suite and ability to quickly adapt to new software applications and technologies \nHigh School diploma or equivalent \nPay Range: $25.28 - $33.70 HourlyThis hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.
