At First American we provide our teams with the support, tools, and technology that they need to ensure that providing unparalleled customer service is your primary focus. This position plays a key role in transforming the Homebuilder real estate experience by empowering our employees and customers to deliver next-generation solutions and results.What You’ll Do:\nResponsible for directing and managing the day-to-day operations of the branch\n\nActing as a working manager, handling escrow transactions\n\nEnsures employee conformance to established practices and proper training of staff. Prepares related reports and audits current procedures to monitor efficiency of operations.\n\nMaintain client base and resolves escalated issues; answers questions and provides guidance regarding products, services, policies, or specific transactions\n\nComplete simple and complex real estate escrow transactions by determining requirements and acting as a neutral liaison between buyer, seller, and lender\n\nDrive transactions forward while maintaining clear, proactive communication with all parties\nEnsure full compliance with company policies, state regulations, and industry standards\nIdentify and mitigate risk to protect clients and ensure smooth closings\nComplete closing by reviewing, recording, and filing documents including preparing and distributing final closing statements and title, ensuring adherence to delivery dates and timelines.\n\nWhat You’ll Bring:\n6+ years of escrow related experience as an Escrow Officer, preferably in Homebuilder\n\n3-5 years demonstrated experience in a leadership or management role\n\nHigh School diploma required\n\nPassion for helping customers while maintaining a professional and positive attitude\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication with both internal and external customers; uses various types of communication to meet customer expectations and build relationships\n\nProblem solving with strong organizational skills, detail oriented and knows how to navigate internal and external resources to resolve issues\n\nAbility to lead/sought out for advice; supervisory and administrative skills\n\nAble to manage competing priorities\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\n\nFamiliar with competitor, financial and industry dynamics\n\nSpecialized knowledge in one or more escrow product areas\n\nBasic accounting/finance skills to be able to understand and interpret financial statements\n\nCustomer Service orientation - responds promptly to customer needs; solicits customer feedback to improve service; responds to requests for service and assistance; meets commitments.\n\nTeamwork - balances team and individual responsibilities; exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views; gives and welcomes feedback; contributes to building a positive team spirit; puts success of team above own interests; able to build morale and group commitments to goals and objectives\n\nPay Range: $77,300.00 - $103,000.00 AnnuallyThis hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.
