The Research Associate will be responsible for accurately processing and maintaining pharmaceutical product data to support the integrity of the company’s healthcare knowledge base.\nThe role requires someone who can work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, review manufacturer submissions, verify and enter product information, identify and resolve data discrepancies, and ensure compliance with established editorial standards and procedures. The role demands communication with manufacturers, customers, and internal stakeholders, and the ability to analyze, quality check, and maintain high-quality data. Success in this role depends on a commitment to accuracy, continuous process improvement, and adherence to evolving policies, work instructions, and quality standards.\nThis position is based out of our Carmel, IN office and follows a hybrid work model, with an expectation to work onsite at least three days per week.\nResponsibilities:\nReview and process manufacturer submissions and other source information for inclusion in knowledge base content.\n\nPerform accurate data entry of coded and uncoded information into editorial systems.\n\nAnalyze and resolve discrepancies identified in audits and reports, escalating when necessary.\n\nConduct basic research, interpret findings, and apply editorial policies appropriately.\n\nSupport team goals by collaborating, cross-training, and serving as a backup as needed.\n\nTake ownership of assigned work, ensuring accountability and accuracy.\n\nRequired Skills:\nStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey findings and issues.\n\nSolid IT literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).\n\nDemonstrated interest in working with systems, workflows, and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.\n\nExperience or familiarity with automation tools, artificial intelligence (AI), or emerging technologies to support editorial workflows is highly desirable.\n\nAbility to learn and adapt quickly to new systems, software applications, and evolving technologies.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.\n\nEffective organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.\n\nAttention to detail with consistent accuracy in data entry and review.\n\nAdaptability to hybrid work requirements and commitment to clear communication in both remote and in-office settings.\n\nInitiative, self-direction, and ability to use emerging tools, including artificial intelligence, to enhance workflow.\n\nRequired Experience:\nBachelor of Science (BS) or Associate in Science (AS) in health or biological sciences (preferred).\n\nCertified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB certified) with at least 2 years of healthcare pharmacy technician experience (desired, not required).\n\nStrong aptitude for learning and working within editorial, database, and workflow management systems.\n\nFamiliarity with automation concepts, AI-assisted tools, or technology-driven workflow improvements is highly desirable.\n\nHigh level of IT literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.\n\nEffective verbal and written communication skills.\n\nAbility to follow work procedures, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy and productivity standards.\n\n_______________________________________________________________________________\nAbout FDB:\nFDB is the leading provider of drug and medical device knowledge that helps healthcare professionals make precise decisions.
