It’s pretty physical as you’ll be moving a lot of LPG cylinders, loading and unloading them on to trucks and delivering them around the Auckland area. We’re big on health and safety here at Rockgas, so you’ll need to do all this while maintaining a safe work environment.\nWhile it's great if you've already got your Class 2 license (even as a learner), we are also keen to hear from you if you have a full Class 1 and want to get into driving as a career. We will support you to get your Class 2 license and make sure you get lots of driving experience.\n Ka mau matou I enei pukenga - What we’re looking for:\nAs well as being an awesome team member with a great attitude you’ll need to have:\nA minimum of a full Class 1 licence. \nExperience driving a truck preferably in a delivery role would be an advantage\nA strong customer service focus\nA very good level of physical fitness in order to move LPG cylinders\nStrong communication skills and a commitment to working as part of a team\nA strong work ethic, integrity and adaptability\nFlexibility to work outside normal business hours and in all weather conditions\nWhile a DG licence is an advantage we will train for this.\nThe recruitment process for this role involves a medical check which includes a drug and alcohol test, and a criminal record check.\n Ko te aha nga hua o tenei mahi - What we can offer you:\nThis role will provide you with the opportunity to work in a great team, interact with customers and keep physically fit.
