(Are you an amazing Cost Controller?)\nWe’re looking for a talented new team member to help us keep the good energy flowing in our Project Services team.\nBased at our Bell Block office, you’ll help our project teams make well-informed financial decisions and keep projects on track. Your timely advice and analysis will support the early identification of cost pressures and risks, and improve our estimating accuracy, while helping strengthen our project cost management practices.\nIn this interesting and varied role, you can expect to:\nReview and monitor project estimates and budgets.\nIdentify cost risks and provide practical guidance to help project teams manage them.\nMonitor project expenditure and cost variances against approved baselines.\nSupport project change control, forecasting and financial reporting.\nAnalyse project costs and use the insights to improve the accuracy of future estimates.\nHelp develop effective work breakdown structures and project cost controls.\nSupport and coach project managers and teams in cost control systems and processes.\nMaintain cost control tools, governance documents, policies and procedures.\nLook for smarter, more efficient ways to improve our processes, systems and reporting. \nThis is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys turning financial information into useful insights, building trusted relationships and helping others feel confident with project costs.\n He aha tāu e kawe mai (What you will bring)\nAlong with your relevant qualification, you’ll bring experience in project cost control, project accounting, finance or a similar commercial environment.
