This role is well-suited for someone who takes pride in their work, cares about product quality, and can manage testing responsibilities independently in a fast-paced environment.\nIn this role, you’ll support multiple projects and work closely with engineers and product partners to make sure quality is considered throughout development-not just at the end. Depending on the project, your testing work may involve UI, APIs, backend systems, and/or data flows. Not every project includes all areas.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nPerform quality assurance testing for assigned projects.\nDesign and execute manual test cases based on requirements and expected behavior.\nTest software features across applicable areas, which may include:User interfaces (UI)\nAPIs and middleware\nBackend services\nData integrations and flows\n\nLook for gaps, edge cases, and potential issues early in the process.\nPerform functional, integration, regression, user acceptance, and negative testing as needed.\nValidate results using tools such as API clients, logs, and SQL queries.\nClearly document defects with steps to reproduce and expected results.\nWork closely with engineering teams to verify fixes and confirm readiness.\nTake ownership of your testing work and follow tasks through to completion.\nActively support product quality by asking relevant questions and flagging concerns before release.\nWhat you’ll need:\n1-3 years of professional software quality assurance experience.\nExperience testing web applications, services, or data-driven systems.\nHands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman or similar).\nWorking knowledge of SQL for basic data validation.\nFamiliarity with the software development lifecycle and defect tracking.\nStrong attention to detail and a mindset focused on delivering quality software.\nAbility to manage your own work, meet deadlines, and adapt as projects evolve.\nClear written and verbal communication skills.\nBonus Points:\nExperience with test management tools such as TestRail or Xray.\nExposure to test automation tools or frameworks.\nExperience testing integrations or distributed systems.\nWorking knowledge of test-driven development (TDD) concepts.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines\nCompany Benefits:\nBalancing the work-life flow is key to health and happiness!
