This role will work closely with colleagues across multiple regions, contributing to products and services that help millions of consumers and businesses communicate with confidence.\nAbout the role:\nWe're looking for a Platform Engineer to help build, operate, and evolve the infrastructure that powers our products across multiple deployment environments. This role will own the deployment pipeline and platform infrastructure for our cloud, hybrid, and on-premises deployments, ensuring our platform remains reliable, scalable, reproducible, and cloud-agnostic.\nWhat you'll do:\nOwn and maintain deployment pipelines across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises customer environments \nDesign and manage containerized infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm \nBuild, improve, and support CI/CD workflows using Gradle and Bitbucket Pipelines \nEnsure platform deployments are reproducible, consistent, and cloud-agnostic \nMonitor platform health, performance, and reliability using Prometheus and Grafana \nManage secrets and secure platform access using Vault \nTroubleshoot production issues and support deployment activities across environments \nPartner closely with software engineers to improve deployment processes, platform reliability, and developer experience \nDrive automation efforts to reduce operational overhead and increase deployment consistency \nContribute to platform architecture decisions and infrastructure best practices \nWhat you'll need:\n5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or related roles \nHands-on experience with: \nDocker \n\nKubernetes \n\nHelm \n\nCI/CD pipelines \n\nAndroid development knowledge\niOS development knowledge\nFlutter experience\nExperience supporting production environments and troubleshooting infrastructure issues \nStrong understanding of Linux-based systems and containerized applications \nExperience working with monitoring and observability tools \nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a distributed environment \nExcellent collaboration and communication skills \nNice to have:\nExperience with multi-cloud or hybrid/on-premises deployment models \nExperience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform \nExperience operating and supporting PostgreSQL and Kafka environments \nExperience designing highly available, scalable platform architectures \nFamiliarity with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP \nWhile the position primarily follows local business hours in the employee's country of employment, occasional flexibility may be required to support planned maintenance activities, project implementations, and service escalations across time zones.\nThis position may be based in either the United Kingdom or Dubai, UAE.\nFor UK-based employees, the salary range for this position is £30,800 - £54,100, depending on experience \nCompensation for UAE-based employees will be discussed during the recruitment process and will depend on experience \nCompany Benefits\nOur work environment is energetic, focused, fun, and collaborative.
