At First Quality, you’ll find a collaborative environment focused on continuous learning, professional development, and our mission to Make Things Better®.\nWe are seeking a Electromechanical Technician for our First Quality Home Care Products facility located in Salt Lake City, UT. This position will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the highest quality product at the lowest possible cost. They provide day-to-day electrical and mechanical support for large industrial machines. This includes performing scheduled Preventative Maintenance, responding to down equipment by troubleshooting and making necessary repairs and completing scheduled workorders.\nPrimary responsibilities include:\nTroubleshoot and maintain the electrical-mechanical machines in manufacturing facility\nPerform changeover activities on large mechanical equipment\nCoordinate and work with other technicians in the daily support of serving and repairing manufacturing equipment\nDocuments actions, parts, and time usage to work orders\nIdentifies, advises, and implements safety improvements\nAbility to learn production equipment processes and operations to aid in machine troubleshooting and operation support\nPerforms basic troubleshooting for electrical problems with single phase and 3 phase motors, wiring and controls\nDecipher information from equipment manuals and schematics to troubleshoot various types of equipment malfunctions.\nPerform evaluations of new technologies with potential application as a new process or as a modification to existing equipment.\nAssist engineers, production managers, and technologists and lead in assessing the impact of equipment malfunction.\nThe ideal candidate should possess the following:\n2-5 years of experience high speed manufacturing equipment.\nAbility to learn production equipment processes and operations to aid in machine troubleshooting and operation support\nAbility to speak, read, and write in English to communicate and interact effectively with associates at all levels.\nMust have basic computer and math skills\nKnowledge of basic Lean principles such as 5S, TPM, Root Cause Analysis is highly desired\nWhat We Offer You\nWe believe that by continuously improving the quality of our benefits, we can help to raise the quality of life for our team members and their families.
