and maintained. \nExecute inspection procedures for the validation of incoming material.\nDesign and implement new inspection procedures and programs.\nDevelop and maintain new verification and calibrations procedures. \nProvide remote support to other First Solar Facilities.\nEducation/Experience:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent is required.\nCandidates must meet one the following criteria to qualify:12 years of manufacturing experience OR 6 years of calibration experience,\nAssociate’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent post secondary studies AND 8 years manufacturing experience OR 5 years calibration experience,\nBachelor’s degree in a technical discipline AND 4 years manufacturing experience OR 2 year calibration experience,\n3 years of experience as a Calibration/IQA Technician II.\n\n2 years of experience within ISO 9001 (or equivalent) Quality System desired.\nASQ Certification desired (CQI, CQA, CQT, CCT).\nCertifications from Polyworks, \nExperience using micrometers, gage blocks, and other handheld inspection tools. \nAdvanced inspection methods for production type parts. \nAbility to read and interpret product and tool blueprints. \nIn-depth understanding of GD&T (Geometric Design and Tolerancing). \nCMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) operation and programming experience. \nFARO operation and programming experience.\nProven communications skills. \nProficient use of all Microsoft Office programs.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nComplete assignments and projects as directed, with minimal supervision.\nComplete all the calibrations on time and with proper documentation. \nMaintain calibration procedures and records per company policy. \nDefine and implement corrective actions on devices that are out of calibration. \nPerform inspections of incoming material, using provided metrology.\nRelease material in the inventory system after completing the inspections.\nQuarantine and investigate any nonconforming incoming materials.\nAssist in module inspections when needed.\nConduct effective communications and foster team building. \nInterface with other departments and locations. \nLead in the execution of calibrations and inspections.\nWork with engineering to develop proper calibration intervals.\nDesign and implement inspection procedures.\nGive input on the metrology used to measure incoming materials. \nTrain personnel on procedures for calibration as required.\nKnowledge of ISO/IEC type standards.\nDevelop and implement calibration procedures. \nAssist in the development of metrology used in the manufacturing of modules. \nUnderstanding of Six Sigma methodology. \nAnalysis of GR&Rs (Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility). \nAdhere to all safety procedures and good housekeeping repetitively on a frequent basis.\n20/40 vision in each eye (with or without correction) and the ability to distinguish between red, yellow, and green is required.\nMay reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis.\nMay stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis.\nMust be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures.\nAbility to wear personal protective
