At First Solar we strive to foster a culture that encourages innovation through collaboration, urging colleagues to take smart risks, learning from failures and course correcting, and owning personal accountability for contributing to our mission.\n\nExpected Length of Internship:\nFall 2026 semester\n\nAs an internship company, we allow flexibility to enroll in classes while working as an intern, as long as it doesn’t interfere with the essential functions of the position.\n\nEducation/Experience:\nSophomore+ student with experience in Adobe Suite.\n\nFirst Solar encourages all interns to register their internship with their university.\n\nRequired Skills/Competencies:\nDigital content, graphic design, photo editing, video content, experience with Adobe Suite (Firefly and generative-fill familiarity a plus).\n\nComfort using AI tools to speed up creative and organizational work.\n\nBasic Internship Scope (Project):\nBuild an AI-assisted tagging and metadata system for the video and image libraries - auto-captioning, categorizing, and making thousands of assets searchable in a fraction of the manual time.\n\nRun an AI-powered audit of existing collateral at scale to flag outdated, off-brand, or inconsistent material that manual review would miss.\n\nUse AI to generate and test title, description, hook, and thumbnail variants for the video library, acting as the editor and quality bar on the output.\n\nUpload and manage content across platforms, including YouTube, optimized for discoverability, engagement, SEO, and AEO.\n\nLeave behind a repeatable AI-enabled workflow the team keeps using after the internship ends - not just a cleaned-up library.\n\nEstimated Salary Range:\n$19.00-$21.00/hr.\n\nUS Physical Requirements:\nHybrid Physical Requirements:\nWill sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift.\n\nWill climb stairs on an occasional basis.\n\nWill lift, push or pull up to 37 pounds on an occasional basis.\n\nRequired to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis.\n\n20/40 vision in both eyes together, with or without correction, is required.\n\nMust be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures.\n\nMay reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis.\n\nMay stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis.\n\nAbility to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel-toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, protective jacket or apron and arm guards, and a condition of employment and continued employment (requires little or no facial hair) for those requiring respirator use.\n\nPotential candidates will meet the education and experience requirements provided on the above job description and excel in completing the listed responsibilities for this role.
