Work with internal staff on completing proposals and negotiating with customers\nAcquire and manage staff equipment and any items required to perform trips (i.e: driver/staff badges, business cards, etc.)\nMonitor any new legislations affecting alternative student transportation. Assist team with implementing new legislations.\nDaily customer management to include but not limited to day-to-day operations, new client start-ups, client retention, and development.\nWill be required to assist in finding, onboarding, and developing ongoing relationships with local and national transportation providers. \nDuring school year startup, it will be required to communicate and negotiate proposed routes with local service providers. \nAssist in capturing new business opportunities with current customers and new clients. Work with internal staff on completing proposals and negotiating with customers. \nResponsible for overseeing and ensuring that accounts are running efficiently, and customer service levels are managed to client expectations. \nOversee vehicle maintenance and compliance along with managing a large driver and transportation partner pool. \nWork in collaboration with internal departments to execute reports and programs to improve service quality, reduce costs, and increase service productivity.\nMaintain a safe and efficient environment for our passengers, contractors, and non-riding public by managing regulatory and client policies and procedures.\nFollow all First Student policies and procedures while providing the best customers service to our clients. \nUse effective industry skills and abilities to support and grow daily transportation operations.\nMust be able to learn and utilize technical skills to create reports, SOP’s, and assist in formulating standard practices within FirstAlt. \nDuties and responsibilities are not limited to above descriptions and can be modified or changed at the discretion of Management. \nDisclaimer\nNothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
