You’ll work across electrical, plumbing, mechanical, fire protection, and other facility components while helping ensure our location remains safe, functional, and well maintained.\nWhat You’ll Do\nTroubleshoot and repair facility components and systems, including electrical, plumbing, mechanical, fire protection, and other building equipment\nInspect and test equipment and perform preventive maintenance\nComplete mechanical work and minor repairs on facility systems and equipment\nInstall new components and systems as needed\nPerform general facility maintenance and upkeep\nMaintain clean, safe, and organized work areas\nProperly handle and dispose of non-hazardous and hazardous liquid and solid waste\nOperate tools and equipment safely and appropriately\nIdentify maintenance concerns and communicate repair needs to management\nSupport additional facility-related projects and maintenance needs as assigned\nWhat We’re Looking For\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n1-2 years of maintenance or repair experience preferred\nBroad knowledge of general maintenance and repair work\nAbility to troubleshoot problems and complete repairs across multiple facility systems\nExperience safely operating hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment\nStrong focus on workplace safety\nAbility to work both indoors and outdoors as needed\nElectrician or welding license/certification is a plus\nWhy Join GVC II?\nAs a Facilities Technician, you’ll play an important role in keeping the operation running safely and efficiently.
