Responsible for the completion of new employee profiles, payroll, benefits enrollments and other clerical and accounting functions.\nSchedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm\nPay Rate: Up to $27/hr, depending upon experience and CDL licensure\nMajor Responsibilities\nProcesses new employee files/records and submits to the Contract Manager for approval. Once approved, submits all appropriate paperwork to the region accounting office.\nCalculates driver/staff payroll and input payroll information into the computer for processing. Accurately tracks attendance for permanent part-time employees. Maintains an accurate driver seniority list.\nAnswers the telephone and responds to customer inquiries. Distributes mail, prepares overnight packages, and maintains stamps and other mailing supplies. Orders location’s office supplies and maintains inventory.\nAssists CM in accurately tracking OT for purposes of reducing / eliminating unnecessary and/or additional punch hours.\nVerifies all standard hours to hours to reduce any additional driver hours.\nAll other duties as assigned.\n\nMinimum Education or Certifications Required\nHigh School diploma or equivalent\n\nMinimum Experience or Skills Required\nExcellent oral and written communication skills\nDemonstrates leadership qualities and is a self-starter\nExcellent time management skills\nAbility to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment\nComputer literacy, 10 Key, Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point\n\nPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions\nIncumbent must be able to move about the office and between floors; utilize standard office equipment; access filing system/cabinets; and communicate effectively and efficiently in person or by telephone.\nOffice/school bus yard\nPossible on-the-road\n\nDisclaimer\nNothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
