These guide how we show up for each other, our restaurant partners, and our diners and they’re a big part of what makes First Table a great place to work.\nAbout the opportunity\nWe're looking for a talented Product Designer who loves bringing together beautiful design, thoughtful user experiences and real commercial impact.\nYou'll join an established Product & Technology team, working alongside our Lead Product Designer, product managers and engineers to continually improve the experiences we create for both diners and restaurant partners.\nThis isn't about building a product from scratch. We've already got a successful platform, established design systems, strong product foundations and the tools to help you do your best work.\nWhat we're looking for is someone who can take those foundations and make them even better.\nYou'll have plenty of autonomy to own your work, challenge ideas, explore opportunities and bring thoughtful design solutions to life. From understanding customer behaviours and testing ideas through to crafting polished interfaces and seeing your designs go live, you'll be involved in the full product journey.\nWhat you'll be doing\nOwn design projects from initial discovery and research through to beautifully executed, shipped experiences.\nCreate engaging, intuitive and visually polished UI across mobile and web.\nDesign for both sides of our marketplace, from diners discovering their next restaurant to hospitality teams managing their bookings.\nWork closely with product managers and engineers to turn customer insights and business needs into practical design solutions.\nUse customer research, usability testing and product data to understand what's working and where we can improve.\nBuild on our established design system, ensuring consistency, accessibility and quality across the product.\nExplore new ideas, prototype solutions and contribute to a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement.\nWhat we're looking for\nYou're a well-rounded Product Designer who cares just as much about how a product looks and feels as you do about how it works.\nExperience designing consumer-facing (B2C) digital products is particularly important to us. You understand what makes people engage with a product, what creates a seamless experience and how thoughtful design can influence customer behaviour.\nYou'll ideally bring:\nProven B2C product design experience, ideally across marketplaces, e-commerce, booking platforms or consumer apps.\nA strong portfolio showcasing exceptional UI craft, interaction design and shipped products.\nConfidence across UX research, prototyping and end-to-end product design.\nExperience working with design systems and collaborating with product and engineering teams.\nA curious, proactive mindset with strong communication skills and the confidence to take ownership.\nYou don't need to have built a product from the ground up or led an entire design function.
