Inspect, label, and package products into the designated carton and case in preparation for shipment. Complete required quality and production paperwork. Maintain good housekeeping in the facility, assist in other production and samples areas as needed.\nPrincipal Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:\nObserves all safety rules and uses the proper safety equipment at all times.\nFollows necessary GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations/guidelines.\nSequentially start-up and operate designated packaging equipment, manual hand sealers, stretch wrappers, and utilizing proper procedures, competently and productively.\nPerforms quality checks on the finished product according to QA guidelines for each product. Maintain quality standards for the product being produced.\nUtilizes lot code printer to include: changing lot code information, replacing ink cartridges.\nEnsures proper raw materials are in place.\nAccurately account product lot codes used for reporting utilizing Radio Frequency Units (RFU) regarding inventory control.\nUtilizes windows based software to accurately maintain specific product history and information.\nKeeps the machines and surrounding areas clean and orderly.\nAssists other team members when required.\nCompletes all necessary paperwork accurately and properly.\nPerforms other duties as necessary when directed to do so.\nEducation and experience requirements:\n· Completion of all required training and assessments.\n· Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.\n· Ability to communicate orally and written.\n· Ability to work in a team orientated environment.\n· High School diploma or equivalent required.\n· Prior computer experience preferred.\nWork Environment:\n· Work in an environment with the potential for exposure to dust during certain tasks.\nPhysical Requirements:\n· Walk / stand 100% of time during a 5-8 hour shift.\n· Constant bending throughout shift.\n· Occasional kneeling during shift.\n· Occasional reaching overhead during shift.\n· Constant pushing and pulling with arms and legs throughout shift.\n· Constant lifting or carrying of boxes weighing up to 30 lbs.\n· Constant use of hands and occasional use of foot control.\n· Constant light and firm grasping with hands throughout shift.\n· Operation of hand trucks, baler, and compactor throughout shift.\n· Daily sweeping and organizing floor and work area.\n· Required participation in a daily pre-shift warm-up routine.\nDisclaimer:\nThe above information on this job description has been described to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by incumbents.
