At First Quality, you’ll find a collaborative environment focused on continuous learning, professional development, and our mission to Make Things Better®.\nWe are seeking an SAP Transportation Management Solution Engineer for our First Quality Enterprises, LLC location, working remotely.\nPrimary responsibilities include:\nSupport system integration activities, including mapping and transformation of data between SAP TM and other enterprise systems.\n\nOwn SAP TM system configuration, end-to-end transportation processes, and related procedures.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve SAP TM system issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.\n\nDocument SAP TM configurations, selection and planning profiles, batch jobs, and ensure documentation is up to date and well maintained.\n\nEnsure SAP TM environments across ECC and S/4HANA remain synchronized and consistent over time.\n\nPerform integrated quality assurance testing for transportation planning and management scenarios.\n\nEnsure test scripts are adequate and complete to cover all transportation scenarios for successful end-to-end testing before deployment to production.\n\nLead an active role in low-level design, testing, and implementation phases of projects, collaborating closely with the business transportation team.\n\nWrite functional and technical specifications for new developments and system enhancements.\n\nAnalyze transportation-related data and develop logical business application solutions in collaboration with IT and user teams.\n\nReview SAP TM system customizations and replace with standard solutions wherever feasible.\n\nComply with the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology and governance standards.\n\nThe ideal candidate should possess the following:\nBachelor's degree or equivalent degree in supply chain, computer science, or a related field / minimum 5 years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience within SAP TM field in a techno functional role.\n\nMinimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Transportation Management (TM) modules.\n\nProven track record of completing at least two full-cycle SAP TM end-to-end implementations.\n\nDeep understanding of transportation management processes, including Freight Order Management, Transportation Planning, Carrier Selection, Freight Execution, and Freight Settlement.\n\nStrong expertise in SAP TM configuration, with the ability to debug code, apply fixes, and implement enhancements.\n\nSolid knowledge of integration with other SAP modules such as Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).\n\nStrong working knowledge of SAP TM Version 9.6 and familiarity with newer S/4HANA TM capabilities.\n\nProficiency in OData services and ABAP RESTful Programming Model (RAP).\n\nStrong architectural knowledge across multiple SAP modules and integration points.\n\nFamiliarity with Business Object Processing Framework (BOPF) and Application Interface Framework (AIF) is highly desirable.\n\nExperience with SAP Fiori applications and UI5 development for TM-related processes.\n\nUnderstanding of SAP PI/PO or SAP CPI for TM integration scenarios.\n\nExperience in performance tuning and optimization of TM processes and related custom developments.\n\nDemonstrated ability to lead and manage teams, including mentoring junior consultants and coordinating project tasks.\n\nExcellent problem-solving skills with a proactive, “can-do” attitude.\n\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.\n\nAbility to work collaboratively across functional and technical teams in a fast-paced environment.\n\nKnowledge of Agile and Waterfall project methodologies, with experience in delivering projects under both frameworks.\n\nCommitment to continuous learning and staying current with SAP TM and related technology advancements.\n\nWhat We Offer You\nWe believe that by continuously improving the quality of our benefits, we can help to raise the quality of life for our team members and their families.
