This position acts as the manager Responsible for supporting the delivery of the highest quality product at the lowest possible cost. Drive improved profitability via cost reduction objectives.\nShift: M-F\nSalary Exempt\nPrimary responsibilities include:\nResponsible for establishing accurate cost standards for our products.\nEvaluate work order accounting issues and assist in resolving material receiving and usage errors.\nEvaluate and correct other Cost Accounting issues that arise to ensure accurate financial statements.\nWorks in parallel with Planning to ensure accurate Bills of Materials and Routings\nParticipate and provide oversight for month-end close activities.\nPrepare reporting on material usage variances & work with Operations to improve. \nProvides analysis for forward-looking financial and business-related projects often working closely with Operations. \nPrepares budgets/forecasts and analysis of trends in manufacturing and other related areas.\nEstablishes databases of pertinent information for use in planning and forecasting.\nEffectively communicate to leadership inventory revaluation and purchase price variance impacts.\nProvide financial and internal control support to a wide range of individuals and departments throughout the organization.\nAssists with monthly close, providing commentary on variances & other financial activity.\nResponsible for overseeing the weekly dashboard reporting process.\nPrepares reports and analysis as requested by Finance Management.\nComplete additional duties and assignments as delegated by finance management.\nThe ideal candidate should possess the following:\nRequires a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.\nMBA, CPA, and/or CMA preferred, but not required.\n3-5 years’ experience in Cost Accounting.\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications\nExperience in ERP systems such as SAP\nKnowledge of US GAAP basic principles and elements of internal controls\nUnderstanding of manufacturing accounting environment\nProficient in the manufacturing process.\nExperience working independently and leading complex projects.\nExperience working with leadership across a variety of functions\nWhat We Offer You\nWe believe that by continuously improving the quality of our benefits, we can help to raise the quality of life for our team members and their families.
