This position will be responsible for assisting in the planning, developing, recommending, implementing, and evaluating of human resource functions, policies, programs and practices in support of the organization’s goals and objectives. Partner with management and staff to facilitate success and communicate various Human Resource policies, programs, practices, procedures, laws and government regulations.\nPrimary responsibilities include:\nPartner with management to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.\nPartner with hiring managers to develop a recruitment strategy and determine compensation proposals.\nManage recruitment efforts for all team members including posting, sourcing, screening, reviewing applicants to match experience with specific job-related requirements, and participating in the interview and decision-making process.\nConduct exit interviews, analyze data and provide reports with trends and recommendations for continuous improvement and retention efforts.\nOversee, coordinate, and manager team member separations and applicable offboarding activities.\nRespond to and provide guidance to management and team members on employee-related issues, complaints, or problems.\nCounsel, coach and assist management in handling and addressing employee relation issues.\nSupport company-wide compensation program; evaluate new positions and revised positions, provide advice to managers/supervisors on pay decisions, as well as policy and guideline interpretation/training.\nProvide assistance with the implementation and administration of the performance evaluation program.\nLead benefits processes, including communicating benefit information to team members, assisting with open enrollment, health fairs and overall education sessions for team members.\nSupport the development, design, management, implementation and administration of consistent and compatible policies and practices throughout the organization.\nAnalyze and evaluate policies, procedures and programs to identify successes and deficiencies and recommend changes.\nIdentify legal requirements affecting human resources functions and ensure policies and procedures are in compliance.\nLead initiative to enhance team member engagement, recognition and retention. Assist with the development and implementation of organizational wide training.\nIdentify training and development needs, create programs to enhance skills and career growth, support leadership development. \nFacilitate and/or provide training of personnel policies and procedures.\nThe ideal candidate should possess the following:\n· Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field.\n· 5 years of successful performance as a Generalist and/or other HR related role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\n· Experience in a lean manufacturing environment preferred. High Performance Work Teams desired but not required.\n· PHR preferred.\n· Solid knowledge and understanding of state and federal employment laws, strong analytical ability, demonstrated perseverance, ability to maintain confidential information, and excellent time management skills.\n· Strong understanding of various HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment, compensation, benefits, performance management, etc.\n· Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough investigations and resolve employee relations matters with fairness and urgency.\n· Requires excellent verbal, written and relationship management skills.\n· Must demonstrate diplomacy and tact while interacting with all levels within and outside of the organization.\n· Must be able to perform job duties independently, exercising good judgment and professionalism.\n· Requires constant discretion and judgment.\n· Ability to work independently, without direct supervision, maintain confidentiality, and take initiative is a must.\nWhat We Offer You\nWe believe that by continuously improving the quality of our benefits, we can help to raise the quality of life for our team members and their families.
