This position will be responsible for coordinating the work efforts of team members to achieve and exceed team performance goals that conform to established standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices. In performing these duties, the Team Lead will work as part of their regular operating team while also performing this coordinating function. The Team Lead is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and adjusting all mechanical equipment, machinery and components.\nNight Shift\nHourly starting at $21.00 + $1.50 shift differential\nPrimary responsibilities include:\nResponsible for efficient coordination of operating teams to achieve daily shift goals.\nParticipate in the development of team improvement plans to achieve higher levels of operation performance.\nTake corrective actions, including recommending disciplinary actions, in order to resolve individual team member performance issues.\nEstablish and maintain mutually supported relationship with other Lead Operators, Production Supervisors, and resource support personnel.\nMaintain communication with Production Supervisors regarding any information that affects the success of the line.\nProvide leadership and develop team members in coordination with the appropriate support function to identify and resolve safety and quality issues, to reduce waste, and to increase equipment efficiencies.\nTrain and/or direct the efforts of trainers in order to train team members to effectively perform.\nParticipate in Daily Operations Meetings (DOM) and communicate results and information to team members.\nModel high standards of conduct and leadership.\nMaintain quality standards and follow all quality procedures.\nAssist maintenance, engineering, controls, etc. when working on his or her line.\nComplete and ensure accuracy of shift production reports, Plant Application downtime, maintenance logs, Quality Window, etc.\nLeads and helps team in keeping machine and surrounding areas clean at all times.\nTroubleshoots and analyzes mechanical and operational issues on all equipment and takes required corrective action to resolve these issues.\nPerforms preventative and breakdown maintenance on all equipment.\nPerforms changeovers on all equipment.\nPerforms other duties as necessary when needed or directed to do so.\nThe ideal candidate should possess the following:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nAbility to effectively operate one machine technology at advanced level.\nStandard knowledge of technical processes, materials, and procedures.\nExcellent interpersonal skills.\nExcellent leadership skills.\nAbility to work in and manage a team-oriented environment.\nAbility to operate in a fast-paced environment.\nWhat We Offer You\nWe believe that by continuously improving the quality of our benefits, we can help to raise the quality of life for our team members and their families.
