These include: Synchronous/Asynchronous messaging, Message queuing, guaranteed messaging, message correlation and sequencing, distributed transactions, etc.\nData Integration: Understanding of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Extract Transform Load (ETL), batch architecture and frameworks.\nMiddleware Knowledge: Understanding of Message Oriented Middleware (for example Tibco BusinessWorks).\nUML modelling.\nWorking Operating System knowledge: Windows & Linux.\nStrong relational database experience (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle).\nAn understanding of highly available, high performance, distributed architectures.\nA good understanding of Enterprise Data Modelling (Entity-Relationship Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams, etc.). Prior experience with test automation.\nExperience in the following is essential:\nEnterprise Information Integration\nEnterprise Application Integration\nService Oriented Architecture: Web Services and related Web Service Standards (WS-Transaction, WS-Security etc.), WSDL, SOAP, REST, Enterprise Service,Buses, Business Process Engines (BPEL), Business Rules, Service Registries and Repositories.\nEvent Driven Architectures.\nMicroservices Architectures (MSA).\nXML, XSLT, XPath, XSD (and related technologies), JSON.\nTest tools: SOATest, SoapUI, etc..\nMulti-threaded programming.\nDatabase design (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Sybase)\nExcellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills\nLeadership skills and the ability to lead and influence development within the team\nAn understanding of key success factors in projects and IT environments\nGood time management skills\nSource control, build and deployment tools (GIT, TeamCity, Maven, Ant, etc.)\nPractical knowledge of AI.\nExperience in the following is desired:\nStored Procedures, Database Triggers, Database optimisation.\nMaster Data Management.\nData Warehousing.\nFederated Database Systems.\nData Governance Principles.\nUnderstanding of Financial Markets.\nEvent streaming platforms & technologies\nImportant Closing Date Note\nTake note that applications will not be accepted on the below date and onwards, kindly submit applications ahead of the closing date indicated below.\n23/10/26All appointments will be made in line with FirstRand Group’s Employment Equity plan.
