Develop detailed plans outlining tasks, resources, timelines, and deliverables, creating a solid foundation for project execution.\nManage project resources (including people, procurement, systems, time and budget) from the initiation of an identified project to the end of the defined project lifecycle or process in order to deliver on project goals and objective.\nBuild working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation.\nEffectively implement change management practices, processes and procedures and ensure optimal understanding and acceptance thereof, including the operationalisation of the change.\nContinuously develop own expertise in terms of industry and subject matter development and application thereof in an area of specialization.\nManage indirect or direct teams within the context of defined processes, influence required performance parameters and act as technical coach where required.\nImplement people resource planning in line with delivery and performance objectives, on budget and in partnership with specialised areas.\nContinuously monitor actual project and process turnaround times and quality standards and resolve issues speedily to enhance effective client service delivery.\nManage and advise on projects from beginning to end in alignment with identified organisational methods and governance guidelines.\nContribute to the development of project budgets, control and report on budgeted resources to meet the project objectives.\nMaintain and build relationships for purposes of expectation management and project reporting.\nCompile and maintain relevant project documentation in accordance with agreed project procedures and methodologies to effectively support project delivery as well as comply with audit requirements.\nDefine project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycles.\nApply knowledge of products, techniques and related processes to manage a team's task execution on quality and time.\nDirect, control, coordinate and optimise budgeted resources (including people, procurement, systems, time and budget) to meet specific objectives and deliver agreed results in accordance with a defined project lifecycle or process.\nIdentify and participate in activities that are appropriate for own development as a life-long learner.\nRequirements:\nMinimum Qualification - Project Management Diploma or Project management accreditation or certification: CAPM, PRINCE 2 Management Systems, IT, STEM or equivalent\nPreferred Qualification - Post Graduate Degree Project management\n5 to 7 years relevant experience in a project environment\n Education: Diploma (NQF 6 or equivalent) in Information Systems, Business Analysis, IT, or related.\nExperience: 3+ years specifically in Payments/Merchant Acquiring.\nPlatforms: Hands-on exposure to PowerCARD (HPS) -configuration, workflows, or integration (must-have).\nAgile and/or traditional project management skills\nBasic accounting and financial management skills\nKnowledge of the full Microsoft Office suite\nKnowledge of project tracking and enablement tools\nImportant Closing Date Note\nTake note that applications will not be accepted on the below date and onwards, kindly submit applications ahead of the closing date indicated below.\n15/11/26All appointments will be made in line with FirstRand Group’s Employment Equity plan.
